**BIOL 1020-900 is an ONLINE course offered through the ETSU Biological Sciences Department and requires a permit to register. Send permit requests along with your E# and course CRN to youngtl@etsu.edu.** Students will not be required to meet on campus or online at scheduled times. A distance learning laboratory kit is required, and it will be provided by your instructor at no extra charge. For minimum system computer requirements and additional information, please go here: https://www.etsu.edu/onlinehelp/student_help/tech_resources.php (you will need to copy/paste the link). Please be advised you will be responsible for watching/listening to lectures on D2L and completing assignments and assessments by the posted deadlines for each. You will be required to submit electronic photos of yourself performing the home-based lab exercises in order to receive full credit. Other requirements will be addressed by the instructor. The lab portion is included in this course. Please do not register for a separate BIOL 1021 co-requisite. Students wishing to attend a campus-based classroom section must enroll in a different section of BIOL 1020.
"Textbook required for the online BIOL1010 or BIOL1020 is different from the on-ground courses BIOL1010 or BIOL1020 courses. If you plan to use the same book, be advised to take both the courses as online or on-ground."
